The result is wasted time, wasted money, and lost customers. A “success” is declared, and the business goes back to paper, pencil, sticky notes and SWAGS

We approach every project from a business outcome perspective. We ask:

·  What is the real problem?

·  What is it worth to solve the problem?

·  Is this an IT or Data Science problem?

·  Do data exist of sufficient quantity and quality to be able to implement a solution with reasonable reliability?

·  Are existing systems and personnel adequate to implement a solution?

·  Can missing data and resources be obtained at a reasonable cost?

·  What is probability that a Data Science or IT solution will be worth the investment?

·  Will the solution be good enough that users will voluntarily give up their paper, pencils, sticky notes and SWAGS? 

We are data scientists with excellent backgrounds in data quality, modeling, and statistical analysis, but we are businesspeople first and foremost. If a data science application doesn’t make your business more customer friendly and profitable, it shouldn’t be done. We are technology agnostic and ruthless about making you money.
